The One, Inc.
It all started with “The Van” for this Spirit of Arkansas winner. Since then Aaron Reddin has expanded his work with the homeless under the parent charity, The One, Inc. Not only do they distribute clothing, shoes and hygiene products from The Van, they also have Catherine’s House Women’s shelter, vans in Searcy and Russellville, and a shower trailer. The main goal of The One, is not just providing for the homeless, but helping them get back on their feet with jobs and eventually into homes of their own.
Rainwater, Holt & Sexton are partnered with KATV Channel 7 to present the “Spirit of Arkansas Award.” The award is given to local charities doing exceptional work in the community. To be considered for the Spirit of Arkansas Award, a charity can apply here.
