For well over three decades, The Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund has been providing financial assistance and personal/professional development opportunities to single-parent families. They help single mothers and fathers complete a career-focused degree or skilled trade certification. In addition, they help recipients secure employment so that the parents support their families without public assistance funds. The Arkansas Single Parents Scholarship Fund’s hard work and dedication to these families has earned them this month’s Spirit of Arkansas Award.
