Quapaw Hidden Creek Reentry Center
Reentry into society after a long prison stay is difficult. Recidivism rates tell us that many return to prison at some point in their lives. The Quapaw Hidden Creek Reentry Center is doing its part to lower recidivism statistics for men in central Arkansas. The center, located in Little Rock, accepts men nearing the end of their prison term and guides their reentry into society. They prepare the men by assisting with educational needs, teaching responsibility management, and helping each man find employment. This ministry has made a great impact on central Arkansas with the success they are witnessing.
For the work in making former inmates successful members of society and helping them avoid a return to prison, the Quapaw Hidden Creek Reentry Center is this month’s Victory Over Violence Difference Maker.
