Hoggard named to The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers
Our head litigation attorney and current Arkansas Bar President, Denise Hoggard, has been named to The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers (CLEL) is a non-profit professional association dedicated to honoring leading lawyers nationwide in the practice of labor and employment law.
To be a CLEL fellow, an attorney must be in the labor and employment law community and “promote achievement, advancement, and excellence in the practice by setting standards of professionalism and civility, by sharing their experience and knowledge and by acting as a resource for academia, the government, the judiciary and the community at large.”
Hoggard is the only attorney in Arkansas that represents the employee’s side. There are two Arkansas law professors who are members, six Arkansas attorneys who represent management, and one Arkansas attorney/mediator, for a total of 10 Arkansas lawyers who have been inducted into the College.
