Seth Hyder
Arkansas Injury Attorney
Seth Hyder grew up in East Tennessee and desired to be an attorney from a young age. He attended Emory and Henry College in Virginia and lettered four years in Varsity baseball. Community participation classes were a large part of his studies, taking both community building and community service courses. He decided to relocate to Arkansas to study law at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Bowen School of Law. Seth studied law because, he says “my career fills a need for the community.” Seth continued his community focus by volunteering for CALS (Center for Arkansas Legal Services) and participating in the Low Income Tax Clinic during law school.
Seth was drawn to personal injury law because it allowed a forum for his competitive background to be expressed. “Of course, everyone wants to help folks in a tough situation and everyone loves a David v. Goliath story but, in this type of work, it really is us against the insurance company. Due to the vast resources of some of these companies, the odds are stacked against the client without proper counsel. I enjoy the competitive element,” he said. “Helping people get their bills paid and securing compensation for their injuries is an added bonus.”
Seth takes a personalized approach with his clients to be sure they make the best decision for the client. “I’m a big believer in being hands on and in constant communication. One of the most important things you can do for a client is effectively communicate,” he notes. Seth most enjoys practicing at Rainwater, Holt &Sexton because the firm shares his passion for building and maintaining client relationships and the commitment to our community. He said the positive attitude and energy of the attorneys and staff consistently make for a great work environment. Seth is proud that Rainwater, Holt & Sexton sets itself apart from other firms by our commitment to community outreach programs and the firm-wide desire serve.
