Elijah Kemp was born and raised in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He attended Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance before moving to Little Rock to attend law school at UALR Bowen School of Law. Kemp is licensed to practice law in Arkansas and is admitted to practice in the Federal District Court of both the Eastern and Western Districts of the state.
In the early years of his legal career, he practiced at a small firm in Hot Springs, handling a variety of civil cases such as personal injury, insurance, contract, and real estate matters.
Kemp is deeply committed to advocating for Arkansans and helping those in need, a passion that led him to join Rainwater, Holt & Sexton. With a strong work ethic and a servant’s mentality, he is dedicated to meeting his clients’ needs and addressing their concerns.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, fishing, and boating on Arkansas’s many beautiful lakes and rivers. He also enjoys outdoor activities with his German shepherd dog. Beyond his professional work, he is heavily involved in his community, church, and various non-profit organizations. A proud supporter of Arkansas Razorbacks athletics, he is an avid Hog fan.
