Reach Out

Holidays can be a difficult time for homeless and low-income families in Central Arkansas. Recognizing the need of this group, Sandra White decided more could be done and decided to create Reach Out.  Reach Out puts on the Christmas Caravan every year to provide families with gifts for their children. The event was started in 2004 and has grown over the years. The Christmas Caravan may be one of the highlights of the year for this worthy organization, but they also work hard throughout the rest of the year to provide for the homeless.  Reach Out represents the Spirit of Arkansas by how they provide for other central Arkansas families around the holidays.

Rainwater, Holt & Sexton is partnered with KATV Channel 7 to present the “Spirit of Arkansas Award.” The award is given to local charities doing exceptional work in the community. To be considered for the Spirit of Arkansas Award, a charity can apply here.
